According to the latest news from a press briefing held this morning by the Polish Minister of Finance, introduction of the mandatory e-invoicing in Poland will be postponed.
At today’s press briefing, the Minister of Finance reported that critical errors have been detected after the initial National E-Invoicing System (KSeF) audit and it is not possible to implement the mandatory KSeF in 2024. The problems concern the system’s code, its functionality and capacity. The Minister said that an external audit of the system will be conducted, the results of which will be reported on an ongoing basis. Based on them, a new KSeF implementation date will be set. At this point, he assured that it will definitely not be 2024. Thus, we shall wait for the official amendments of the relevant regulations.
